Cloud Security Architect - 100% REMOTE

Are you an experienced Cloud Security Architect and looking for the right opportunity where you can put your mark on a large, successful enterprise moving to AWS?

We are moving our systems, applications and development to AWS and security is a key aspect of this cloud migration. Our clients rely on our systems to be secure and this isn't a "nice to have", security is a "must have" in our business. We are looking for an experienced AWS security Cloud Architect who can not only lead and guide on how we can best implement a secure AWS cloud environment but can help us by rolling up your sleeves and making this a reality.

Some of the key responsibilities for this role include:

• Designing and implementing cloud security strategies and policies.
• Assist with the build out of a multi-cloud environment - public, private and hybrid cloud.
• Ensure security of our cloud based data and applications against unauthorized access, theft, and other security threats.
• Assist in conducting regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and address plans to address these.
• Continue to stay up to date on the latest in cloud security technologies, trends, and practices.

As far as qualifications, we would expect you to have a minimum of 5 years of cloud security experience focused on designing and implementing secure cloud computing solutions. We also would expect you to have a strong background and understanding of cloud computing technologies such as IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS. You should be familiar with cloud security solutions and technologies with AWS, Azure and GCP. Any cloud-related security certifications such as Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) would be preferred.

We are looking for an individual who enjoys collaborating in a team oriented environment and who can work well with technology professional and business professionals at all levels. We are an Atlanta based company but most of our team is working remotely and we have no plans to change this arrangement as it is working well. This role is 100% remote and if you live outside Atlanta, there may be the occasional travel to Atlanta for key meetings or presentations.... but this would be infrequent.
