1. 5+ years of Cyber Security Experience

2. Experience reviewing technical cloud design diagrams to assess security

compliance (AWS or Azure)

3. Enterprise Networking experience - what is needed to make cloud connections,

what security concerns are there

4. Ability to document (in MS Visio preferred) and communicate highly complex

technical solutions in an easy to understand manner to a customer.

Job Description

TEKsystems is looking for one candidate to provide Architecture

Design reviews for proposed Cloud Solutions from various internal customers to

ensure they meet security standards. They will get LTA (Logical Technical

Architecture Documents- could be from factory, OT networks, cloud networks,

etc.) and they will need to make sure these architectural diagrams match the

security directives.

They will work with internal customers to ensure the LTA diagrams accurately

depicts what the system or architecture is actually doing that they are asked

to review. They will need to make recommendations an go back and forth on these

with the customer. They will need to provide recommendations to help enhance

the security of the solution.

In simple terms - the "customer" proposes some architecture and how it is

secure (does this in MS Visio) then this person will go over that.

Candidate Responsibilities

- Review and assessment of architectural artifacts (e.g. architecture diagrams)

for compliance to security policy and identification of risks and potential

areas of improvement - Collaborate with peer Cybersecurity professional in the

assessment of IT solution for security posture - Liaison between Caterpillar

Cybersecurity organization and the rest of Caterpillar to communicate, embed,

and demonstrate compliance to Cybersecurity requirements - The individual will

assist in the creation, review, and approval of solution architectural

documentation that graphically depicts all components used by the application

along with all connections and data flows down to the port/protocol level.

Typical Day

Education Requirements:

- 5+ years of overall cyber security - Cloud Security best practices (e.g.

Cloud Security Alliance' CCM - Cloud Controls Matrix) - Security expertise and

hands-on experience with MS Azure and AWS (2+ years of experience) - General

cybersecurity expertise aligned to industry standards including, but not

limited to; ISO27001/2 and NIST
