Cloud Security Engineer The Opportunity:
Everyone is trying to "harness the power of the cloud," but not everyone knows how. As a cloud security engineer, you know how to secure, protect, and maintain cloud-based te chn ical architectures that meet client needs and take advantage of the latest cloud capabilities. We need you to help us continuously monitor and maintain cloud-based solutions for some of the DoD's toughest challenges.

As a cloud security engineer on our team, you'll foster the delivery of secure cloud-based environments on multiple networks in support of mission-critical operations. You will collaborate across our cloud infrastructure delivery team, and with stakeholders, using an Agile process to ensure implementation, verification, and continuous monitoring of cloud solutions across multiple network domains. You'll support Assessment and Authorization ( A & A ) activities to achieve and maintain Authorization to Operate ( ATO ) on multiple networks. You will evaluate enhancements to Cloud environments against Risk Management Framework ( RMF ) controls and DoD Security Te chn ical Implementation Guidance ( STIG ) requirements. You'll support data capture and configuration within tools to enable the achievement of the organization's A & A objectives. This is an opportunity to use the latest cloud te chn ologies and to sharpen your skills in Amazon Web Services ( AWS ) as you look for ways to improve our client's environments using cloud capabilities. You Have:
3+ years of experience supporting operations and maintenance for secure information management systems

Experience with Linux operating systems and command-line interfaces

Experience with the Windows and Active Directory

Top Secret clearance

HS diploma or GED

DoD 8570 or 8140 IAT Level II Certification, including Security+ Certification

Nice If You Have:
Experience with Assured Compliance Assessment Solution ( ACAS ) and Host-Based Security System ( HBSS )

Experience implementing a continuous monitoring program

Experience c ond ucting security control assessments

Experience with AWS

Experience with the Atlassian tool suite, including JIRA and Confluence

Experience with Agile development te chn iques and ceremonies

Ability to pay strict attention to detail

Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills in a team setting

Possession of excellent problem-solving and reasoning skills

Bachelor's degree in CS or IT

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
