Title: Cloud Security EngineerLocation: Bellevue, WA (Day 1 Onsite)End Client: HCL America Inc.Project Duration: 6+ months (possibility of extension)Job DescriptionMandatory Required Skills:5 - 10 years of progressive experience in cloud engineering, site reliability, devops, system infrastructure, or a related technical role.Deep knowledge of and experience with cloud infrastructure services (GCP, AWS).Strong scripting and coding ability across multiple languages and technologies.Proven track record in optimizing reliability and performance and scaling technical infrastructure in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.Strong analytical skills and the ability to provide data-driven recommendations for critical decision-making, particularly regarding system reconfiguration and improvement.Willingness and ability to be "on call" to address unforeseen issues outside of normal working hours as needed.Experience with content delivery networks (CDNs) such as Akamai, Imperva, Fastly, Cloudfront, and web acceleration techniques.Preferred/Desired SkillsKnowledge of programming languages like C, Python, JavaScript, or others.Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform).Familiarity with CDN technologies (Akamai, Imperva, CloudFront, CloudFlare, Fastly, etc.).Knowledge of Kubernetes infrastructure in a production environment.Experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog, Quicksite, Kibana-Log Stash, Splunk, with the ability to understand metrics and their impact on system performance and the ability to build dashboards and alerts to ensure system reliability.Experience in managing database systems, including PostgreSQL and MySQL.Proficiency in load testing technologies.Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Cloud Security Engineer to join our team in Bellevue, WA.
