Short Summary:
In this "NEWLY CREATED” role, reporting directly into the company's Global CISO, you will be highly strategic as well as tactical as you set the IT Security direction for all business units across their global enterprise.  You will leverage cybersecurity technology to establish SOPs relevant to a digital and public cloud platform.  You will have complete oversight for building out best of breed remediation processes, incident tracking and resolution, risk assessments, audits, etc.  You will collaborate with senior members of the leadership team.

More specifically you'll.................

  • design and develop the AWS and GCP security architectures for protecting business critical data and assets.
  • contribute to the overall global enterprise cloud architecture and lead the security vision around public cloud PaaS/IaaS and cloud-based applications.
  • embrace emerging trends and provide overall guidance on security best practices across all business units and technology groups.
  • leverage your experience with assessment, development, implementation, optimization, and documentation of a comprehensive and broad set of security technologies, automation and processes pertaining to secure software development (Application Security), cloud based Event Management (SIEM) solutions and cloud based log management solutions
  • work closely with Engineering, Infrastructure Services, and Application Development organizations to choose appropriate technology solutions and facilitates complete integration into the application environments.
  • develop and executes strategies to increase Cloud Security knowledge throughout the enterprise.

You'll Need the Following................

  • At least 5+ years of with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and or  Google cloud (GCP)
  • DevOps tools experience (Github, Terraform, Jenkins, etc.)
  • In-Depth OS Experience (RHEL, Ubuntu, Windows Server)
  • Understanding of networking (ports/protocols), firewalls
  • Scripting and automation proficiency with languages such as Python and expertise with the AWS lambda functions.
  • Advanced knowledge with data analytics platforms similar to Google BigQuery.
  • Advanced expertise in Cybersecurity organization practices, operations, risk management processes, principles, architectural requirements, engineering and threats and vulnerabilities, including incident response methodologies, tactics and strategy to protect, detect, respond and recover from attacks.
  • Recognized expertise in Agile and implementation of security in dev-ops, CI/CD frameworks.
