Please be aware that due to the program's secure nature, the highest level of UK Security vetting is required or should be attainable. These roles necessitate a full-time presence at our Gloucester offices.

Your future duties and responsibilities
As a valued member, you will join a cooperative team dedicated to a pivotal critical IT infrastructure program. This initiative involves over 100 of our accomplished UK consultants, crafting robust Enterprise-scale Cloud infrastructure solutions for our government client. It's worth highlighting that this program stands as one of the largest within our UK business, entailing infrastructure development of unprecedented scale and complexity.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- Seamlessly integrating development outputs into release modules
- Spearheading their progression through relevant stages into operational service
- Navigating the release-to-service process, including security and accreditation procedures
- Providing invaluable technical insights and expertise on designs, solutions, tools, techniques, and standards
- Hands-on development of pragmatic solutions for real-world challenges
- Troubleshooting, investigating, and resolving incidents

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Our program seeks Infrastructure Engineers with a proven track record in the following domains:

- Windows and/or Redhat Linux server administration
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Java, PowerShell, and Bash
- Expertise in configuration and automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, and Foreman
- Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Command over virtualization technologies including VMware, Hyper-V, and OpenShift
- Sound grasps of network fundamentals encompassing DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, routing, switching, and HTTP
- Knowledge of Azure and AWS Cloud Technologies
