Security Engineer

My client is a cloud-led managed service provider, who deliver specialist services to link people, places and clouds in both public and private sectors. They are built by teams of some of the most technically-minded and talented individuals within the industry, who help drive positive business outcomes for a vast range of clients with a range of cloud, data centre and connectivity requirements. They are seeking to hire a highly motivated self-starting Security Engineer, who will join their welcoming Product and Engineering team. You will be involved in internal automation projects throughout the full project life-cycle, from scope, to design, to delivery, and working primarily with Microsoft Cloud technologies and top tier vendors.

This is a salaried position which pays up to £75k. We are looking for some of the below experience…

  • Proven record of automation, using a variety of tools and functions (Azure DevOps is essential)
  • Microsoft Azure Iaas, Paas and Security (e.g., Sentinel or Microsoft Defender)
  • Exposure to infrastructure systems (e.g., Windows Server, Linux and networking solutions
  • Task and workflow development (CMP using JSON)
  • Code Control (Git)
  • Scripting, queries and automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash or Terraform)
