Security Engineer (Azure Specialist)

In just over three years our client's pioneering concept has gone to be recognised as the most innovative AI/ML software platform in the world. Having recently opened a R&D centre in Surrey they are looking to hire a passionate tech driven Security Engineer who is subject matter expert on Cloud Security in Azure.

Solid previous experience required by the Security Engineer includes being able to take a prominent role in reviewing the existing cloud security measures and managing the Cloud Firewall configuration. You must be proactive in reviewing the security posture within Azure, using tools such as Azure Defender.

As such solid background with cloud security controls, fundamentals and best practices (NIST, CIS, OWASP) as well as experience using SIEM tools (ideally Azure Sentinel) is needed by the Security Engineer. Furthermore, previous experience with working in a security operations center (SOC) and familiarity with WAF and OWASP rule customisation is deemed desirable.
